DJ Diary: American-Afghan Wedding (01/27/12)

Richard Nixon Library...

What are the odds that we make it back to the same three months later for another 1/2 Afghan wedding?  Admittingly, the venue is quite nice with its wall decor, fire places, and high ceilings.  It looks even better with our uplighting.  And for a pleasant change, we had blackberry fushcia uplighting, which accented the bride's wedding colors.  Check out the video below to see it all in motion!

DJ Diary: Iranian Wedding (12/25/2011)

A LATE START…

Happy Holidays 2011!

The holidays are coming...check out our festive photos below.

DJ Diary: Persian-American-Jewish Wedding (11/11/13)

This was my 3rd or 4th time at the Marina Del Rey Marriott, and as always, we entertained the ceremony, cocktail, and reception. We had a live spanish guitar player for guest arrival, and the ceremony took place on the helli-pad with a view of the city and ocean. It was quite amazing. Due to the timing of the ceremony, it got dark at the latter part of the ceremony, for which we were prepared and had beautiful gold uplighting on the flowers of the Chuppah.

DJ Diary: All Afghan Wedding (11/11/11)

To be honest, this was a tough event for me since it was all Afghan and they did not serve alcohol.  The majority of the music was Afghan with a touch of Persian, Arabic, and American music.  We covered the ceremony and cocktail hour flawlessly, and made our best attempt to get everyone on the dance floor.  The ladies didnt' hesitate, but the men stayed clear from the dance floor.  But hey, it is what it is.

DJ Diary: Afghan-Korean Wedding (10/29/11)

I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween weekend!

We set up for our biggest and baddest wedding yet...and it was well worth it as we impressed the venue, vendors, and most importantly the bride and groom with our lighting, which included synchronized LED uplighting, centerpiece pinspot lighting, gobo design projections, custom monogram, light-up columns, and more.

DJ Diary: Egyptian Wedding (10/23/11)

I'm catching up on this blog post almost two weeks later, but my memory is still vivid.  We setup for an Egyptian wedding at the Hills Hotel in Laguna Beach, which was a Holiday Inn just a few years ago, but the remodelling did wonders.  We took care of the lighting and entertainment.  The pictures below depict our lovely LED uplighting, gobo designs on the dance floor (swirls) and the custom monogram for the bride and groom. We also setup our decorative light-up columns.  Our setup was very aesthetically pleasing.

DJ Diary: Turkish-Persian Wedding (9/24/11)

Here's a nice change to our collection of events.  We did wedding on a private beach-front property in Malibu just a few weeks ago.  The ceremony took place on a lush grassy area under tall trees, and this was a great thing as the trees provided shade to the seated guests.  It was a Christian ceremony conducted by a judge.  That was the first time I saw a judge conduct a ceremony...

DJ Diary: Persian-American Wedding (9/17/11)

As you can see, it's a common them for us to have a Persian-American wedding.  We missed photos of the ceremony and cocktail, but here's the scoop.  The wedding took place at the Hyatt Westlake Village, which looks quite nice and I'm surprised we have not yet a wedding there before.  As usual, the ceremony and cocktail were outside.  The weather was great (not too hot, and not gloomy) and we of course provided the lovely music for ceremony and cocktail.
